Agenda Item Summary:
Background: This regulation was developed pursuant to Policy KG for the purpose of providing both the community and Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) staff a standard approach to the use of school facilities by community members for non-school sponsored use.

Staff would like to make a recommendation to change the rental fee for the auditorium at Minnie Howard. Based on the size of the auditorium in comparison with other auditoriums in the division, it is recommended that the rental fee be changed for Group B from $200 to $100 and for Group C from $400 to $300.
Recommendation: The Superintendent recommends approval of the revised rental fee for the Minnie Howard auditorium to be effective January 3, 2017. Please note that regulations only require Superintendent’s approval.
