Agenda Item Summary: ACPS has four schools in a partially or denied accreditation status for school year 2017-18. Below is a list of the schools with their current accreditation status:

1. Jefferson-Houston- Accreditation Denied (Reading, Science and
Math)
2. William Ramsay- Partially Accredited: Reconstituted School
(Science)
3. Francis C. Hammond- Partially Accredited: Reconstituted
School (Reading)
4. T.C. Williams- Partially Accredited: Warned School-Pass Rate
(Math)
Background: The division has put in various structures to support and monitor school’s progress, such as governance meetings, internal academic reviews and instructional walk-throughs. Each school has also put in structures and practices to support teachers and students in order to reach full accreditation.
Recommendation: Review division and school strategies and initiatives for attaining full accreditation
