On November 25, 2019, the Department of Student Services, Alternative Programs and Equity (DSSAPE) held the first school board work session of the year focused on equity. In preparation for future trainings, the DSSAPE created an assessment to better determine where ACPS School Board members are in their equity journey.

Background:
|
Equity is heavily embedded in the ACPS 2020 Strategic Plan and is planned to be the foundation for the new strategic plan, ACPS 2025. The Department of Student Services, Alternative Programs and Equity (DSSAPE) is committed to creating and sustaining equitable policies and practices in each school and department through extensive professional development to stakeholders.
