Agenda Item Summary:
|
The Budget, CTE, and Special Education Advisory Committee staff liaisons request that the Board grant waivers to extend the term limits for their committee Chairs, so that they may serve an additional year for 2018-2019. These committees do not have members willing or able to step into the leadership role for the upcoming year. Waivers are requested for the following Chairs: Janine Rubitski for BAC, Dave Remick for CTE, and Janet Eissenstat for SEAC.

ACPS Policy BCF states that "Committee Chairs may only serve two consecutive, one-year terms and may be nominated for the Chair position again after two years of not having served in that role."

Recommendation:
|
The Superintendent recommends that the School Board grant a Committee Chair term limit waiver for an additional year of service for the Chairs of the BAC, CTE and SEAC Committees.
