Every fall Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) is required to report out on the membership numbers submitted to the State of Virginia through the Fall Student Record Collection. In addition, ACPS is required to provide a breakdown of these numbers both by Virginia statute and ACPS School Board request.

Background:
|
Each October ACPS submits a Fall Student Record Collection Report to the Virginia Department of Education. This memo provides the 2017-2018 membership data included in that report as well as other data concerning transfers and class size.

Recommendation:
|
The Superintendent recommends that the School Board reviews the SY 2017-2018 Fall Membership, Transfer, and Student Ratio Report.
