After the February board briefing, the Calendar Committee met and recommended a pre-Labor start date of August 24, 2021.
|

Background:
|
The Calendar Committee studied the question of a pre-Labor Day start to align the school calendar with other divisions in the region. The Committee recommends Board approval in May 2020 to allow staff and families to plan accordingly for this change.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends the School Board review the proposed academic calendars for 2021-2022 School Year.
