Agenda Item Summary:
|
The ACPS 2020 Scorecard will serve as one tool to gauge the division’s annual performance in each ACPS 2020 goal area and discrete objectives. These results will inform the division in how to strategically move forward to ultimately achieve the core mission of ‘Every Student Succeeds’.

Background:
|
As outlined in September 2015 materials presented to the Board, the Senior Leadership Team has worked over the past seven months to finalize all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and out-year targets. For each KPI where targets have been set, a methodology has been provided regarding how the targets were selected. Several KPIs will have targets set next year once baseline data are established and reported out during the current year. Targets will be revisited on an annual basis based on experience. The reporting of actual performance against targets for school year 2015-2016 will begin in fall 2016.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends the Board review the ACPS 2020 Scorecard KPIs and targets in preparation for the fall 2016 reporting cycle.
