Agenda Item Summary: An update regarding the newly established ACPS Office of School, Business, and Community Partnerships
Background: The Office of School, Business, and Community Partnerships was established in 2016 to support existing and new partnerships between ACPS, businesses, and community groups. In alignment with ACPS Strategic 2020 Goal 2- Family and Community Engagement, the vision of bringing partnerships, grants, volunteers and FACE under a single vision supports ACPS efforts to ensure that Every Student Succeeds. Detailed information and updates regarding the purpose, alignment, and identified opportunities of the Office of School, Business, and Community Partnerships, are found in the attached documents.
Recommendation: The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the attached materials.
