Agenda Item Summary: T.C. Williams High School administers the PSAT, SAT, and PSAT NMSQT to students in grades 9-12 on three different dates in the school year: October 16 and October 30, 2019 and April 14, 2020. T.C. Williams is requesting a change to the 2019-2020 Traditional Academic Calendar to change the current early release date of October 9 to October 16 for both King Street and Minnie Howard; to make October 30 and April 14 early release days for the King Street campus only; and permission to allow non-testers to not report to school on the October 30 and April 14 dates.

Recommendation: The Superintendent recommends the School Board review the proposed changes to the 2019-2020 Traditional Academic Calendar presented in this brief for approval at the September 26, 2019 School Board Meeting.
