This year the School Board approved the Budget Calendar at the September 12, 2019 meeting. Since that time there have been two changes to the Budget Calendar. The date for the City Council/School Board Joint Work Session on FY 2021-2030 CIP Budget has been finalized and set for October 23, 2019, and the Community Budget Forum has been rescheduled for October 21, 2019.

Background:

Each September, the School Board begins budget development for the next fiscal year. The preliminary budget work session commences public work on the budget process and introduces the below key planning document that will be used throughout the development of the FY 2021 Combined-Funds Budget.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board adopts the revised FY 2021 Budget Calendar.
