Every fall Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) is required to report the membership numbers submitted to the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) through the Fall Student Record Collection. Additionally, ACPS must explain these numbers as outlined by the Virginia statute and following ACPS School Board requests. The attached report includes the required information.

The information details ACPS membership as of September 30, 2020, provided to VDOE on the Fall Student Record Collection. Also included is information on administrative, programmatic, capacity, and sibling transfers based on ACPS School Board Policy.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the information provided in this SY 2020-21 Fall Membership, Transfer, and Student Ratio Report.
