Background:

On June 5, 2018 the ACPS Athletic Hall of Fame Advisory Selection
Committee met to evaluate the list of nominees for the 2018 class of inductees to the ACPS Athletic Hall of Fame (AHoF). The group achieved overwhelming consensus on the individuals in the attached document.
For the induction ceremony of the 2018 AHoF inductees, the committee is planning an event in November aligned with the T.C. Williams High School’s Homecoming weekend.
The event will include a “Meet and Greet” followed by a ceremony where the new inductees will be presented with plaques. Current members of AHoF and dignitaries will also be recognized. Afterwards, the plaques of the new inductees will be unveiled in the lobby outside of the gymnasium just above the display cases housing the names of the T.C. Williams High School athletic record holders.

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board approve the attached nominees for the 2018 Athletic Hall of Fame.
