Agenda Item Summary: The Enhanced Continuity of Learning Plan 5.0: Reimagining Schools was presented to the School Board on Thursday, October 15, 2020. Based on our commitment to providing regular communication to the School Board and Alexandria community, we have prepared this presentation to share the latest updates regarding the reopening of schools.
Background:
Recommendation: The Superintendent recommends the School Board review the phased reopening update as presented and approve adjustments to the division’s operational status or instructional model if recommended. Such recommendations will be based on a change in community-based health metrics, staffing or capacity constraints, and will be made in consultation with local and state health officials.
