Agenda Item Summary:
|
On September August 31, 2023, the Virginia Department of Education approved the new 2023 Math Standards of Learning. In response to these new standards and stakeholder requests for a comprehensive resource to help teachers address these new standards, a Request for Proposal (RFP) process began in early 2024.

Background:
|
Seven vendors have submitted eight comprehensive resources in response to this RFP. The attached document provides online access information to the resources. Due to the size of the proposal materials, the core, print instructional materials have been arranged on the 4th floor of 1340 Braddock Place.

Recommendation:
|
The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the information and available materials for the K-5 Math High-Quality Instructional Material adoption.
