Agenda Item Summary: A list of facilities that are scheduled to be open or closed this summer. The chart below outlines the ACPS summer programs, the identified facilities for City program use, and a brief description of the types of scheduled projects planned for this summer.
Background: Department of Operations, Department of IT, Department of Curriculum & Instruction, and Educational Facilities have collaborated to better coordinate the use of ACPS facilities over the summer of 2020. Also, Educational Facilities has coordinated and validated both facility and space usage with the City. Therefore, we have made recommendations on which facilities are to be closed based on scheduled summer work.
Recommendation: The Superintendent recommends the School Board review the proposed summer planning and facility usage
