This is a draft presentation for the School Board and City Council Joint Work Session regarding ACPS’s FY 2022-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) to be scheduled in the coming weeks. The purpose of this agenda item is to review and discuss the presentation in preparation for the joint work session.

Background:
|
Following the Ad-Hoc Joint City-Schools Facilities Investment Task Force’s recommendation that the City Council de-couple their budget processes, this is the second year that the joint CIP work session between City Council and the School Board will take place in the fall. The School Board may have this joint work session on ACPS’s proposed CIP prior to developing and adopting the budget; however, any additional attachments needed at the time of the joint work session may be added prior to the joint work session.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the draft presentation to be presented by the School Board to City Council on the FY 2022-2031 CIP.
