Agenda Item Summary: A transfer is recommended from the CIP Reserve Account totaling $125,832.00 to support building envelope repairs at George Washington Middle School. This would leave a balance of $556,777.32 in the CIP Reserve Account.

Funds are being requested to specify and install the corrugated metal panel system to address the ongoing water intrusion issues at the George Washington Middle School and expedite work immediately.
Background: On December 7, 2017, the School Board authorized the establishment of a Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Reserve Account which provides an additional option for CIP budget transfers. This reserve account allows the School Board to move budgeted funds between capital accounts through a two-step process.
Recommendation: The Superintendent recommends that the School Board approve this budget transfer request totaling $125,832.00 from the CIP Reserve Account to support the George Washington Building Envelope Water Intrusion Repair Project.
