ACPS 2025 Strategic Plan Goal:
Objective 6.2 Continuous Improvement
ACPS will engage in cycles of continuous improvement at every level of the school division, and it will employ evidence-based decision-making in its consideration of process improvements, policy making, and budgeting and accountability.
Objective 4.2 Well Maintained Facilities
ACPS will ensure that facilities are maintained at high levels and that repair needs are addressed in a timely and efficient manner to support the educational mission and daily operations of the district.

Agenda Item Summary: The attached power point provides an overview of the major programs and projects essential to continuity as we progress toward the new academic year. It reflects major departmental initiatives and processes that will ensure that the outcomes in the ACPS Strategic Plan 2020 continue to be addressed and achieved.

The second presentation outlines the anticipated summer projects.
The presentation is organized by high school, middle school, Pre-K to 8 school, and elementary school.
Background: The summer months represent an important time for planning, program development, and professional learning. Department leaders have identified initiatives and processes to undertake during this period in preparation for the start of the academic year, 2018-19.

In the summer projects each update identifies planned design, construction, and operating and maintenance projects for the facility.
Recommendation: The Superintendent recommends that the School Board review the identified projects and priorities.
