Agenda Item Summary:

The FY 2022 Budget Calendar was discussed during the FY 2022 Preliminary Budget Work Session on September 10, 2020 and adopted at the September 17, 2020 School Board Meeting. Since that time, there has been one change to the FY 2022 Budget Calendar. The date for the Joint City Council/School Board Budget Work Session on the FY 2022-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget was moved from October 21, 2020 to November 17, 2020.

Background:

Annually, the School Board adopts a budget calendar to define the time frame under which the proposed budget will be prepared, discussed, and approved. The School Board approves the budget calendar as part of setting the work and meeting schedule for both the Combined Funds and CIP budgets.

Recommendation:

The Superintendent recommends that the School Board approve the revision to the FY 2022 Budget Calendar.
